The Mini Squash Program is targeted at Primary Schools (Grades 4-6).
The program includes:
- 3 x 1 hour lessons at a nearby squash centre participating in the Just Squash It program – usually held over three consecutive weeks
- Instruction from a qualified Level One coachRacquets & protective eyewear provided
- Opportunity to join a local junior club
Your nominated Squash Centre will charge a small fee per child to cover the cost of court, racquet and eyewear hire, however the qualified Level One Coach will be provided free of charge. For a nominal fee your students will thus be receiving a great introduction to a sport that offers much for young people – it’s SUNSAFE, easy to learn, assists with the development of co-ordination and most of all, provides lots of FUN.
It is important that a teacher be available to be involved with each session. It is considered that such involvement assists with the running of sessions and the teacher will also gain invaluable experience in how to run a Squash program.
Should your school require Public Liability insurance to a particular level, please confirm with your local Squash Centre that they hold cover that meets such requirement.
If you require further information on any aspect of the School Squash Programs please contact Sue Hillier at WA Squash on 9225 7255 or 0400 789 943.
